Every now and then, we pray for peace and God's mercy upon our lives and so far God has been faithful to us. As for Japanese, the crisis that struck their country on the 11th of March is beyond what they ever imagined could happen , guess they never saw it coming. The earthquake and tsunami have caused extensive and severe damage in Northeastern Japan, leaving thousands of people confirmed dead, injured or missing, and millions more affected by lack of electricity, water and transportation. A week after the twin disasters has left more than 6,500 dead and over 10,300 missing.
What about the children that their parents and families are now where to be found? Well, i learnt that UNICEF is doing all that it can for these kids but they need support from the whole world. Let's all join hands together and reach out to Japan, they really need all the help that they can get.
If only the nuclear plant was not affected by the earthquake...that's another issue which Japan authorities are presently battling with to avert a nuclear crisis and have been on this for a week and 2 days...
There are several relief fund programmes online, though some people are actually reluctant to make any contribution because they wonder if these monies are actually been used for the intended purpose. Do bear in mind that even if this happens, you have actually touched a life or a couple of lives by reaching out with your funds in your own little way. I am certain there are other ways we can all reach out no matter how little we think it is...one of these ways is through our prayers...
Nigeria is so blessed in many ways, one of which is the fact that it is not prone to natural disasters and i pray that we don't wake up one day to an earthquake/tsunami, Amen!
Japan needs all the help it can get both from relief efforts/funds and our prayers. So many people are yet to be found, the economy has suffered a massive set back. My prayer is that God shows the Japanese & Japan as a whole mercy and also see them through these trials...Amen!
Show some luv peeps, God bless us all!
